Nissan Skyline R32 GTS1989-1994 |
||
The R32 is the first of the mainstream Skylines you will see on the drift circuit. There were Skylines before this one, but they are so rare and expensive, you are unlikely to see them on the track. The R32 GTS came with the RB20DET engine. This was a straight six two litre lump with just over 200 horses. not really good drifting material. Not surprising then that most R32s find a RB25 or RB26 transplant under the hood. it is possible to tune the RB20, and there's big power waiting, but the expense is often more than it's worth, and power delivery tends to be abrupt although some may find this desirable for drifting, which may explain why the Driftworks R32 still had it's RB20 in place when it competed in the the D1GB Drift Championship. Although the RWD GTS is most common, as with all the Skylines, some crazy drifters opt for the GT-R model, and disable/remove the four-wheel drive system. Skyline T-ShirtsComing Soon
